Udupi: Sunil Chatra (42), one of the partners of the famous Kundapura-based Durgamba Motors, a passenger transport company, died in a road accident that took place in Tamil Nadu on Thursday afternoon. Sunil Chatra was travelling in a car near Karur in Tamil Nadu when the car toppled multiple times as the driver tried to avoid hitting a cyclist who came in the way.
Sunil, who sustained serious injuries in the mishap died at a hospital, while the car driver, who too sustained serious injuries, is battling for life at a hospital in Karur, it is learnt.
