Bengali Association is celebrating Durga Puja (only Ghot Puja) at Anjaneyaswamy Temple (adjacent to CFTRI) from Oct. 22 to 26. Primary celebrations begin on the sixth day, Oct. 22 (Shasthi), on which the Goddess is welcomed with rituals. The festival ends on the tenth day (Vijayadashami), on Oct. 26. The organisers have, in a press release, requested all members, devotees and well-wishers to participate and get blessings from Maa Durga. All guidelines issued by the State Government to contain the spread of COVID (mask, sanitiser and social distance) are to be maintained at Puja Hall. Thermal screening will also be done at the venue, the press release added.
