Mysuru: Senior musician Vidwan Dr. R.S. Nandakumar has demanded that the Government of India must consider the name of Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, the internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam exponent who has contributed immensely to the growth of Indian culture by offering her expertise in classical dance to lakhs of students over the years, for ‘Padma’ award.
Dr. Nandakumar was speaking at an event titled 'Kalankura’ organised by Jois Kala Prathishtana Cultural Trust at Ganabharathi's Ramagovinda Kalavedike in Kuvempunagar recently.
