Mysuru: Ganabharathi has organised a vocal concert by Vidu. Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar at Veene Seshanna Bhavan in Kuvempunagar on Sept.8 at 6pm. She will be accompanied by Vidu. Sumana Vedanth on vocal, Vid. H. K. Narasimhamurthy on violin, Vid. G. S. Ramanujam on mridanga and Vid. S. Manjunath on ghata.
Profile: Vidushi Sukanya Prabhakar is a multifaceted artiste of different stature. Being a popular artiste, she has nurtured a lot of students into the field of music. She has been conferred Doctorate by the University of Mysore for her thesis on the contribution of Sri Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar.
