Dr. L.Srinivas, who was serving as a faculty of the Department of Anthropology, Hampi Kannada University, took charge as the new Director of Karnataka State Tribal Research Institute (KSTRI) in Mysuru on Nov.30. He replaces Rajesh Gowda, who has been transferred. The Government had issued an order to this effect on Nov.26.
