Bengaluru: As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage across the State, the State Government on Wednesday extended the service of Dr. C.N. Manjunath, Director, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bengaluru, by a year (till June, 2022).
Although Dr. Manjunath’s tenure ended on June 30, 2021 the Karnataka Government has extended his service by one more year following advice of experts and other leading personalities, it is learnt.
