Dr. B. Satishchandra Nayak (71), Founder of Sri Maha Maya Nursing Home near Ballal Circle (now defunct) and partner of B. Nirmala Devi & Company (a 47-year-old Mangalore Ganesh Beedies distribution firm in Mysuru), passed away yesterday. A resident of Saraswathipuram in city, Satishchandra leaves behind his wife Geeta S. Nayak, son Industrialist Sandheep Nayak, daughter Chaya S. Nayak, daughter-in-law Yoggitaa Sandheep and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites today at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 3 pm.
