The District Administration will be celebrating 133rd birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at the Town Hall (Rangacharlu Bhavan) premises in the city at 9.30 am on Apr. 14, according to a press release from the Mysuru Deputy Commissioner, who also heads the National Festivals Celebration Committee of the District.
The Karnataka Buddhadhamma Samithi has also organised Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti at the premises of D. Sanjeevaiah Memorial Educational Institutions in Vijayanagar First Stage at 6 pm on Apr. 14. Manorakkitha Bantheji of Jetavana Buddavihara, Chennalinganahalli, Kollegal taluk, will grace the occasion. Noted Medical Practitioner Dr. V. Lakshminarayan will be the chief guest, while the Samithi President Prof. D. Nanjundaiah will preside.
