Mysuru: Amoghavarsha, the child who was attacked by their pet Rottweiler dog yesterday in city underwent a surgery at Apollo BGS Hospital and is said to be recovering at the Intensive Care Unit. Four-year-old Amoghavarsha was attacked by the dog when he was playing outside his house at Dattagalli Second Stage near Kuvempunagar.
The child’s father Ajay told Star of Mysore that his son was stable and was on intensive observation and treatment post-surgery. He added that they would take a decision regarding retaining the attacker pet only after a couple of days as they were focussing on the child’s recovery.
