Mysuru: A lady doctor working in K.R. Hospital was in for a rude shock when the gold chain she was wearing was snatched in broad day light. The incident occurred this morning at 9.30 when Dr. Nandini, after registering her attendance, was walking from Cheluvamba Hospital towards the Surgical Ward (Stone Building) in the K.R. Hospital premises.
The chain snatcher suddenly appeared while Dr. Nandini was walking in the alley between Cheluvamba Hospital and the Stone Building and yanked off the gold chain weighing 25 grams and disappeared even before she could react. It is learnt that there was no CCTV cameras installed in this part of the premises. Devaraja Police Inspector Shantharam has registered a case.
