Mysuru: With the Union Government removing minimum education qualification for obtaining Driving Licence (DL), Bharat Informal Workers Initiative (BHIWI) will organise DL drive at Dasara Exhibition Grounds in city on Sept.17.
BHIWI president and MLA S.A. Ramdas said that the initiative was being taken up in association with the Regional Transport Office. The RTO authorities will issue DL and LLR to eligible persons on the occasion. On Sept. 1, the Union government removed the minimum education qualification for obtaining driving licence.
