In a bid to engage youth in useful physical activities and sports, the Union Ministry of Youth Services and Sports and Nehru Yuva Kendra, Mysuru, in association with the State Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Sri Talacauvery Mahila Vidyasamsthe and Sri Talacauvery Yuvajana Seva Mattu Kreeda Samskrutika Sangha, Mysuru, have organised a District-level Sports meet at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad in the city at 10 am on Mar.3.
The sporting events for men include Kabaddi, Volleyball, Discus throw, 100 mts. running race, 200 mts. running race, Carrom, Ball in the Bucket and brisk walk.
