Mysore/Mysuru: Hundreds of distributors, wholesalers and retailers of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and members of Mysuru Chemists and Druggists Association, under the aegis of Mysuru District Distributors’ Association, took out a massive rally in the city on Friday demanding a ban on online trading and setting up of a Trade Board at the national level.
The rally, which commenced from Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the Palace North Gate, passed through Gandhi Square, Sayyaji Rao Road, Shivarampet, D. Devaraj Urs Road, JLB Road and Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa Circle (Metropole Circle), before reaching the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, where a memorandum was presented seeking a ban on online trading and a uniform pricing policy across the country.
