The Department of Tourism has invited applications from eligible candidates under Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan (SCSP), Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) and Backward Classes and Minorities (BCM) Schemes for distribution of Tourist Taxis. A total of 56 taxis will be distributed among the beneficiaries out of which 10 taxis for SC Community, 7 taxis for ST Community and 39 taxis for BCM Community will be distributed. Candidates, aged between 20 to 45 years, having a pass in SSLC, should submit the application forms along with copies of SSLC marks card and Driving Licence (DL) attested with Tourist Taxi Badge. Last date to submit filled-in application form is Mar. 7 by 4.30 pm. Applications has to be submitted at the Office of Assistant Director, Tourism Department, Mayura Hoysala Complex, JLB Road.
