Mysore/Mysuru: District Minister S.T. Somashekar launched the programme of distributing grocery kits to 2,860 Anganwadi workers of the district at Kalamandira in city yesterday by symbolically distributing kits to 125 Anganwadi workers.
Chamraja MLA L. Nagendra, in his presidential address, said that distributing essentials to Anganwadi workers shows the concern of the District Minister. "The District Minister has become a role model by accumulating Rs. 2.85 crore from his friends, Constituency people and people’s representatives and donating the same towards the maintenance of Mysuru Zoo," he added.
