Mysore/Mysuru: Thousands of devotees visit the famed Srikanteshwara Temple at Nanjangud in the district, which is popularly known as Dakshina Kashi. But these devotees are forced to pay more for their footwear at the temple’s shoe stand, in the absence of any notice board regarding footwear fee. As a convenience for thousands of devotees visiting Srikanteshwara temple everyday, the temple authorities have set up a footwear stand close to the temple and near the Dasoha Bhavan.
The temple authority has tendered the operation of these footwear stands, by fixing a fee.
