Mysore/Mysuru: A Committee constituted by the Syndicate of the University of Mysore (UoM) under the Chairmanship of the Registrar (Evaluation) to suggest the pattern of Convocation dress has invited suggestions from the general public, alumni of the Varsity and the designers.
This is being done following directions from University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Governor of Karnataka to use Khadi and handloom fabrics. Interested can suggest the pattern and colour for the Convocation dress keeping in mind the culture and heritage of Karnataka and UoM.
