Mysuru: Mysuru Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep has warned the officials of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) that disciplinary action would be taken against them if they grant permission to demolish heritage structures under their jurisdiction.

In a press release, the DC has asked authorities in-charge of heritage structures to inform the Heritage Committee (headed by him) before taking up any works on such structures. The DC stated that many structures have been demolished without bringing it to the notice of the Committee. He warned of stringent action if any structure is demolished without prior permission.
