Bengaluru: The State Government has extended the deadline for installation of High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) to Sept. 15. The Transport Department, on Wednesday, issued a notification in this regard, giving vehicle owners time to affix the HSRPs.
Responding to a petition filed by the HSRP Manufacturers’ Association of India and others, the Transport Department had told the High Court last month that it would not take any “precipitative action” until June 12 against violating vehicles.
