CESC has extended the deadline for getting permanent power connection to newly built houses in sites measuring upto 2,400 sq.ft that do not have OC (Occupancy Certificate), to Aug. 15. Earlier deadline was May 31. Later this deadline was extended by a fortnight on June 22 for those who had already applied as a one-time exemption. Now this deadline has again been extended to Aug. 15. In this backdrop, those who have built new houses (G+3 or Stilt parking +4 type houses) in sites measuring upto 2,400 sq.ft, with a building setback difference limit upto 20 percent, can avail of this extension as a one-time applicability.
