Mysuru: The Deputy Director of Pre-University (DDPU) Board Jayaprakash who was caught red-handed by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), while accepting a bribe from a private college for renewing licence, has been suspended and jailed.
The Primary and Secondary Education Department Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Seth has issued an order suspending Jayaprakash, pending enquiry. In his place Kumbarkoppal PU College Principal Shakuntala has been appointed as in-charge DDPU.
