Sankar, who dons many roles apart from being the head of the District. He is a nature-lover, an avid birder, photographer and a gardener with an intimate knowledge of flowering and fruiting plants. Thanks to his initiatives and an inherent love for nature, the DC’s Residence on Hunsur Road is a thriving organic farm and a green haven for over 93 bird species.
