Mysuru: Over a hundred differently abled persons from across the district attended the grievances meet jointly organised by the District Administration, ZP, Women and Child Welfare Department and Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens at the ZP hall here this morning.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) D. Randeep. Alleging that Gram Panchayats were ignoring them while making welfare plans, a few specially abled persons urged for involving them in chalking out plans on spending 3 per cent of the sectoral budget that is earmarked for the disabled.
