Mysuru: Charvaka Social and Cultural Trust that had organised a conference at Maneyangala in Kalamandira premises has been blacklisted and steps will be taken to see that such incidents are not repeated, said Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep.
The conference was inaugurated by the organisers by consuming beef. This had led to a huge controversy questioning the Government for allowing such unhealthy practises in a place that is considered sacrosanct. In the light of this, DC Randeep spoke to the media on Monday and said that not only the organisation that had organised beef-eating had been blacklisted but the deposit money that the Trust had paid will be forfeited.
