Mysuru: Nanjangud Industries Association (NIA) in association with Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Karnataka and St. John’s Ambulance Association, Mysuru, have jointly organised a one-day 61st training programme in first-aid for industrial workers and supervisors on Dec.11 (Tuesday) at Hotel Shree Guru Residency, JLB Road Cross, Mysuru, from 9 am to 5 pm.
The need for first-aid is greater than ever because of the increased use of machines and electrical appliances in everyday work at home and at workplace. As per the statutory compliance, in every industry certain number of employees should be trained in first-aid and they should know the important procedure for treating the casualty.
