Mysuru: The second day of Dasara Kavi Goshti featuring young poets at Rani Bahadur Auditorium in Manasagangotri here yesterday drew the attention of all literary lovers when contemporary issues like MeToo campaign and Swachh Bharat campaign were conveyed through poems.
Bengaluru Doordarshana Centre Assistant Director Nirmala C. Eligara, participating in the event as a Poetess, recalled that travelling from Bengaluru to Mysuru on an Airavata Bus, she browsed through a newspaper which carried a lot of news on MeToo campaign. She scribbled a poem ‘Me too, me too, andre nanagoo saha heege agittu...canteennalli, campausnalli, institutenalli...’ and recited at the Kavi Goshti.
