D.V. Narayana Iyer (99), a resident of M-Block, Kuvempunagar, passed away on Aug. 10. He had served as English Teacher at Sri Sharada Vilas Boys’ High School. A Sanskrit Scholar, he had also taught all subjects to even foreign students. He leaves behind his wife Thangamaniyamma, 8 daughters and a host of relatives, friends and family members. Last rites were performed at Harishchandra Ghat at foot of Chamundi Hill the same day.
