D.S. Sarojamma (82), a retired teacher at Christ the King Convent (CKC) and a resident of Chamundipuram in city, passed away this morning at her residence following brief illness. She leaves behind her younger sisters D.S. Leela and Dr. D.S. Uma, retired District RCH Officer, brother-in-law Sheshadri, CEO of Pratham, a brother and a host of relatives and friends. Sarojamma, along with her sister Leela, had joined CKC since its inception. She had served for 38 years at the Convent. As per her last wish, her body was donated to Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) this afternoon.
