The Department of Kannada and Culture has invited applications from cultural troupes to participate in the Dasara procession to be held on Oct.8. Interested troupes should submit applications along with group photograph, details of all the artistes, group head’s contact number to the Co-ordination Officer, Procession Sub Committee, Office of the Police Commissioner, Mirza Road, Nazarbad, by Sept.17. The final selection of the troupes will be done by the expert committee. For details, contact Ph: 0821- 2418739, according to a press release from the Kannada and Culture Assistant Director.
