The premium rates per acre of paddy (irrigation) is Rs. 680, horsegram (rain-dependent) Rs. 136, ragi (irrigation) Rs. 352 and ragi (rain-dependent) Rs. 288. Last date to submit the insurance proposal is Aug. 14.
