Mysore/Mysuru: When doctors across the country were protesting against assault on their colleagues on the COVID-19 duty under the umbrella of Indian Medical Association (IMA), four medico volunteers at Seth Mohandas Tulasidas ‘COVID Mitra’ Triage and Counselling Centre performed dance to convey the message ‘doctors are heroes saving patients and Corona positive patients, and not villains’.
Through dance, they conveyed to people that doctors make efforts to save life of critical patients. Sometimes patients die without responding to treatment. Holding doctors responsible, people physically assault and abuse them. The doctors wear PPE kits and attend to patients without food and water and it is the responsibility of society to respect them.
