Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru Zilla Panchayat (ZP) members, cutting across party lines, urged the State Government to put an end to alleged fleecing of citizens by Private Hospitals in the name of treating Corona positive patients.
At the ZP meeting held here on Tuesday, they said Private Hospitals were collecting lakhs of rupees from relatives of COVID-19 patients and were not handing over patients’ bodies till the settlement of bills. The Private Hospitals were misusing the current situation.
