Mysuru: The Mysuru Special POCSO Court has sentenced a man to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and has also imposed a fine of Rs. 31,000 for raping a minor girl.
The accused identified as 35-year-old Mani of J.P. Nagar in city, had raped the minor girl after threatening her. Based on the complaint by the victim on Nov. 7, 2017 at the Government Girls Balamandira here, Saraswathipuram Police, who had registered a case in this regard, arrested the accused and had submitted a charge-sheet against him (accused) to the Court.
