Mysuru: A City Court has ordered attachment of MUDA properties for the delay in payment of compensation to a farmer whose land was acquired by MUDA for formation of Lalithadripura Layout.
The MUDA has acquired 17 guntas of land belonging to one Venkataramanagowda of Lalithadripura in 1997. The MUDA then had paid compensation at the rate of Rs. 1.25 lakh per acre in 2000, following which Venkataramanagowda moved the District Court seeking more compensation.
