Srirangapatna: A couple, said to be depressed in life, committed suicide by hanging at their house in Koodala Kuppe in the taluk yesterday. The deceased are Devaraju (55) and his wife Roopa (45). They have two sons, Darshan and Dhanush, who were staying at their grandmother’s house at K. Shettihalli.
The couple’s neighbours, who grew suspicious as the couple had not come out of the house, broke open the locked door only to see the couple hanging and informed Srirangapatna Rural Police.
