Bengaluru: The issue of farm loan waiver, whose modalities are yet to be worked out, is likely to figure in the first coordination committee meeting of the Janata Dal (Secular)-Congress coalition government likely to be held next week.
A statement from former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah’s camp yesterday stated that the committee is set to meet on Thursday (June 14) under the chairmanship of Siddharamaiah. Among others, the committee has Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara, Janata Dal (Secular) National Spokesperson Danish Ali, and AICC General Secretary and Karnataka In-charge K.C. Venugopal as its Members.
