Mysore/Mysuru: Following a contempt of Court ruling, the furniture of Siddartha Sports Club located at Siddarthanagar in the city was seized on Thursday. This action was taken after the Club’s President and Secretary failed to comply with the Court order to reinstate the membership of Chandan, a resident of Siddarthanagar.
Chandan, upon the non-restoration of his Club membership, filed an appeal with the Court, alleging contempt of Court. After hearing the appeal, the Court ordered the seizure of movable assets belonging to the Club. This order was executed by seizing the furniture in the presence of the Court Amin.
