The demands include spending of Rs. 5,950 crore cess collected by the Welfare Board, only on labour welfare programmes, distribution of 12 facilities announced by the Board to the beneficiaries, appointment of an exclusive CEO and necessary staff to the Board and extension of financial aid to all labour welfare schemes, among others.
