Mysuru: In a bid to galvanise the party ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the District Congress has intensified its membership drive.
Addressing a press meet at Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road here this morning, Mysuru District Congress President Dr. B.J. Vijay Kumar said the party membership drive has been intensified following directions from AICC President Rahul Gandhi. The drive is aimed at enrolling at least 60,000 new members from each Assembly segment across the country, he said.
