Bengaluru: KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar said that Congress candidate for Maski Assembly by-poll will file nominations on Mar. 29 and the candidate for Basa-vakalyan Assembly segment on Mar.30.
Speaking to presspersons at the KPCC Office on Queens Road here on Saturday, Shivakumar said that the Congress has already announced that Basanagouda Turvihal will contest from Maski, while Mallamma, wife of late party MLA B. Narayanrao will contest from Basavakalyan Assembly segment. While Turvihal will file nomination on Mar. 29, Mallamma will file her nomination papers on Mar. 30, he said.
