The two-day HIVE Mysuru ART Update 2017 was inaugurated at SDMIMD auditorium at the campus on Chamundi Hill Road here this morning. The conference ceremony will continue with seminars being held on different aspects of HIV/AIDS epidemic under the auspices of Asha Kirana Trust which is working for the cause of people living with AIDS for the last over 20 years.
The Asha Kirana Trust has also established a hospital in Hebbal providing both inpatient and outpatient facilities along with providing of free antiretroviral therapy (ART) medicines. The conference will conclude tomorrow. The organisers felicitated Asha Kirana Chairman and Founder Trustee Dr. S.N. Mothi and Asha Foundation, Bengaluru, Founder Director Dr. Glory Alexander on the occasion.
