Mysuru: In a bid to prevent rain water entering the temporary tents of Mahouts and Kavadis at Mysore Palace premises, who have accompanied the Dasara elephants, the authorities constructed a concrete floor at the place were the tents would be erected.
The work has been completed at the place identified for Mahouts and Kavadis, who are arriving in the second batch. The authorities have removed the stone slabs and have concreted the place. Similar, works have also been done at the place where the tents have been erected for the first set of Mahouts and Kavadis, who have already arrived at the Palace.
