Mysore/Mysuru: Vice-President of Karnataka Higher Education Council Prof. S.R. Niranjan has voiced apprehension regarding the growing trend of excessive medication intake and pesticide use, which he believes is contributing to the rise in health issues among the populace.

Speaking after inaugurating the ‘World Health Day’ organised by Suyog Hospital and Suyog Educational Institutions at Ramakrishnanagar recently, Prof. Niranjan highlighted that the widespread use of pesticides in agriculture has resulted in these chemicals seeping into food items, posing risks to human health.
