Mysuru: The three-day District-level Children’s Science Festival began this morning at Government Higher Primary School in Kumbarakoppal. More than 1,500 students from different parts of the district took out a colourful procession.
The event, organised by Department of Education, was jointly inaugurated by Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath and former MLC D. Madegowda by beating Nagari (drums) in the presence of DDPI Panduranga, Corporator Ushakumari, BEO M.R. Shivakumar and 150 Government School teachers.
