Skipper S.J. Nikin Jose from Mysuru, representing Karnataka in the Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy U-23 Round VI, Elite Group A & B Tournament played against Baroda at the GSFC Cricket Ground in Vadodara, scored an unbeaten 110 n.o., in Karnataka's second innings on Tuesday. Batting first, Karnataka scored 211 in 65.4 overs in their first innings. Luvnith Sisodia (33), S.S. Sateri (44), Shubhang Hegde (32) and M.B. Darshan (26 n.o.) were amongst the run-getters. N.A. Rathva took eight for 87 for Baroda. In reply, Baroda scored 307 in 107.3 overs. P.S. Kohli scored an unbeaten 99 n.o. Mohit Mongia (63), S.S. Desai (30) and A.A. Pathan (25) were amongst the scorers. Karnataka in their second innings had scored 228 for four in 95 overs. Skipper Nikin Jose top scored and gave their team some solidity by adding 151-runs for the fourth wicket. Karnataka are presently leading with 132-runs on the board.
