Mysuru: The Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers’ Co-operative Society Ltd., popularly known as Co-optex, has organised an exhibition cum sale of handloom products from tomorrow (Dec. 7) at Madhava Shenoy Hall in The Institution of Engineers on JLB Road here. The expo will be inaugurated by BSNL Divisional Engineer S.K. Krishnegowda at 11 am tomorrow. Hand woven products such as Silk sarees, Coimbatore soft silk, designer silk sarees, Kora silk sarees, bed sheets, pillow covers, carpets, towels, kurthis, chudidhar materials, floor mats, ready-made shirts and other hand woven products will be on sale at the expo. Organic Cotton Sarees, produced by pure cotton with natural colours without mixing chemicals which are very rich and weightless wiill also be displayed. The expo-cum-sale is open to public from tomorrow between 10 am and 8 pm till Dec. 12.
