CM to inaugurate two-day Kannada Conference on Science & Technology

Mysuru: For the first time a Kannada Science and Technology conference has been organised jointly by Science and Technology Academy and JSS Arts, Science and Commerce College at the latter’s premises here on Nov 24 and 25. Disclosing this at a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Academy Chairman Dr.S.K. Shivakumar said that the conference would be inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddharamaiah on Nov. 24 at 4.30 pm. He further said that about 600 delegates were expected to attend the conference which features paper presentation on relevant scientific topics like Food Technology, Nano Technology, Digital Technology, Space Technology and Medical Science by eminent personalities in the field. Continuing, Dr. Shivakumar said that the conference would also feature interactions and a ‘Kavi Gosthi’. Dr. Chidananda Gowda, former VC of Kuvempu University, Academy Member-Secretary Dr. Honnegowda, members Shakib-ur-Rehman, Dr.S.R. Sudarshan, B.V. Sambasadashivaiah senior Scientist  Dr. A.M. Ramesh and others were present at the press meet.
