Mysuru: With the ten-day world famous Dasara festivities beginning today, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy flagged off 50 special buses meant for Dasara at a programme organised in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at the Palace North Gate this morning. Ministers G.T. Devegowda, S.R. Mahesh and D.C. Thammanna, KSRTC MD Umashankar, KSRTC Mysuru Urban Divisional Controller Vasu, Divisional Mechanical Engineer Veeresh, Divisional Transport Officer Dasharath and other officials were present. The special buses will ply to different destinations in the district and across the State to meet the Dasara rush.
