Responding to a plea by Karnataka State Government Employees Association, Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has directed the Finance Department to sanction 11 percent DA (Dearness Allowance) to State Government employees, on the lines of Central Government. The hiked DA will come into effect from July 1, 2021.The Association has thanked the Chief Minister for sanctioning the hike in DA, according to a press release.
