Mysuru: Pedestrians and members of the public have appealed to the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) to take action against rampant footpath encroachments in the Krishnaraja (KR) Assembly Constituency.

Footpaths along Vishwashanthi Road, from Vivekananda Circle to Srirampura; from KHB Complex to the KSRTC Bus Depot in Kuvempunagar; and from N. Madhavarao Circle (Agrahara Circle) to M.V. Srinivasan Circle near Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, passing through Nanjumalige — one of the city’s busiest stretches — have been extensively encroached upon by vendors.
